A platform can help, but it can also become a shiny cover for hospitals that don’t want to fix the boring operational stuff.

If this really cuts treatment time by over an hour on average, the upside is obvious: fewer people disabled, fewer families thrown into long-term caregiving overnight, fewer lives permanently narrowed because of a slow chain of decisions. The downside is subtler but real: a healthcare system that starts trusting alerts more than clinicians, and a widening gap between hospitals that can implement these tools well and hospitals that can’t.
